This refrigerator is a great choice for single household or kitchenettes who want a sleek design and top of the line food preservation.
This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a tiny fraction – this is crucial to prevent freezing burn. The fridge’s refrigerator section also performed well, reaching the desired initial set temperature within an hour and maintaining that temperature steady throughout the course of our testing.
Bosch has a reputation for top-of-the-line appliances and appliances, so it’s not a surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch’s Home Connect platform. The app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is costly, but offers great features and functionality at a reasonable price.

The fridge is built with a standard French door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded down to make space for tall items. There’s also a full-width drawer to store products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.
This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker making it easy to transfer the frozen ice as needed. The freezer also features thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also has a large bin that holds plenty of frozen food items and a separate ice storage bin.
Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the fridge’s temperature as well as lighting using your smartphone. It’s a great way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, especially if you’re away from home.
The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn’t enhance the performance of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator as compared to other fridges we tested. This could be due to its larger capacity.
The doors are another problem with this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people struggle to close them without slamming them. It would have been better if these had front-mounted handles.

Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It’s also a little cheaper than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

It’s a basic fridge which may not be as attractive like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a suitable option. The “Chill Drawer”, which is situated over the two crisper bins, is a great feature. The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a “smudge proof” finish. It is capable of repelling fingerprints and streaks even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I’ve tested.
