Albums
The discography of the American rock group Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, and numerous compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has received multiple Grammy Awards.
Before Toto was formed The members of the band did sessions for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate, and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in 1976 as a result of the collaboration.
The third album of Toto, Turn Back, marked a change from the more progressive sound of their earlier albums, and was criticised for the lack of hit singles. In 1985 the group’s singer Fergie Frederiksen quit the group and the band held auditions for a new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the band recorded the 1986 album Fahrenheit.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by going through several old demos and tapes to release a special record called Toto XX. The album was well-loved by fans and Toto began the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
In the course of the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun, drummer Leland Sklar departed from the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In the year 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included recordings from the tour as well as an interview with the group.

Toto is a rock group from the United States. It was formed in Van Nuys in Greater Los Angeles in 1977. The group consists of Steve Lukather (vocalist/guitarist), David Paich (bassist), Steve Porcaro (keyboardist/vocalist), Jeff Porcaro and Joseph Williams who is a guitarist and vocalist. The group’s eclectic blend of influences has made them one of the most well-known bands of all time. The band’s music has been featured in over 200 TV and film productions including The Godfather and The Prince of Egypt.
In 1983, the group released Toto IV, which earned them worldwide recognition. The band began a world-wide tour to support the album following its popularity. During the tour, Bobby Kimball, the lead singer, was arrested on drug-related charges. The band decided to let him go at the conclusion of the tour and hired singer/guitarist Joseph Williams in his place. Drummer David Hungate also left the group after the tour. Leland Sklar took over his place.
The TOTO Museum is an impressive futuristic building that has several exhibit rooms that are devoted to telling the story about the company and its most innovative product. Its exhibits include toilets, faucets and tableware that have contributed to the expansion of the TOTO brand over the past half century. The museum hosts special exhibits all throughout the year.

Toto has released a number of music videos. The band has released a variety of compilation videos and DVDs. The most popular video of the group is “Africa” which has over one billion views on YouTube. The video is set in a library, where the band performs on top of an African book stack.
The track “Africa” is from the album Toto IV, was written by the members of the band and was produced by David Pich. The song was written by members of the band and produced David Paich. It was a huge hit in Europe and other countries. The success of the single helped Toto to regain their popularity following their previous album Turn Back failed to chart in the United States.

Toto known for the hit song “Africa”, recently came together to promote their latest album, All In. The album debuted on November 6, 2018, and included three songs from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, plus recorded versions of four older tracks featuring Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also featured the cover of Weezer’s track “Hash Pipe” that the band decided to include after hearing a rendition on the radio.
